Edit Equipment


 

The Hotel PM system allows you to edit information describing each piece of equipment in the database. To begin the process select an existing piece of equipment from the Equipment List by locating it in the list then clicking on it. The selected equipment is highlighted, as shown in the figure below. Click the Edit button to initiate the copy process.

Editing Equipment

Edit mode allows for the revision of all equipment information as necessary. The presence of the words "Editing Equipment" in the upper right corner of the equipment window serves as a reminder that you are in Edit mode.

Any time a service task is activated the Next Service date must be entered. Deactivating a service task will stop future scheduling of that task but will no effect previously issued work orders.

 

 

Information on the specific items in the Equipment screen and the tabs on the bottom half of the screen can be found under Add New Equipment.
