Equipment Task List


Task List

 

 

The Equipment task List presents the maintenance tasks that are due based on the date and other parameters you provided. The top of the list appearing in white represent the tasks that total the available man hours specified. The equipment tasks with a shaded background represent these tasks that match all of the specified criteria but would exceed the available man-hours.

 

At this point none of the selected tasks has actually been assigned. You will make the decision on which tasks are selected by clicking in the Assign To box on the left hand side of the list and selecting a staff member or outside contractor form the drop down list which is displayed. The second figure illustrates this process.

 

 

 

Assigning Equipment Tasks

 

 

As many or as few of the tasks displayed in the list can be assigned. To un-assign a tasks you need only delete the staff or contractor name from the Assign To column in the task list.

 

When you are done assigning tasks click the Schedule button to generate Work Orders for the tasks that were assigned. Those tasks with out a name in the Assign To column are not assigned.

 

Clicking the Close button at this point would close the Task List without generating any Work Orders.

 

 

Work Orders similar to the one which appears below will be printed for each of the assigned tasks. Clicking the small printer icon near the top of the Print Preview form will open a printer dialog from which you can send the work orders to your printer.

Equipment Maintenance Work Order

You can repeat the maintenance task Scheduling process whenever necessary. Once a work order has been issued the maintenance task will not appear in the schedule until the open work order has been completed and the next service date is determined.
